I'm the new Dan Brown!

I got this fun link from another blog. It analyzes how you write and tells you which famous author your style most resembles. I write like . . . wait for it . . . Dan Brown! I love his books so that makes me happy. Go here to find out who you write like, and then leave a comment telling me the answer!

My style was like H. P. Lovecraft. I swear, I'm not the queen of horror. ;)

What a cool site! Apparently according to the site I write like Stephen King, which is interesting because reading his writing makes me go to sleep with the lights on. His movies are even scarier, especially the Children of the Corn ones. I watched one of those movies in a small Midwestern town surrounded by corn fields, which in retrospect may not have been the best idea. I kept thinking that the "children" were going to come out of the fields and attack me.

I write like Cory Doctorow. Never even heard of him. I guess I'll have to read a little of his writing to see what this means. Ha Ha.
God bless, Geoff.

I allegedly write like David Foster Wallace. Since I'm not familiar with him, I have no idea if this is a good thing or not!

The instant analysis says I write like Jonathan Swift. That's not too shabby. In fact, I find intriguing.
I should perhaps re-read Swift's "Modest Proposal"; I studied that in university a few decades ago.

I tried this with two different manuscripts. One is like Chuck Palahniuck and the other like H.P Lovecraft. Weird. :)
