Cravings

I have been absolutely dying to read a romance novel. Don't ask. I have no idea why. I went through a stage where I hated romance novels. I was tired of their identical story lines, the same old sex scenes over and over and over, and you know the girl is always going to get the guy. Bleh!

The only thing I can attribute my sudden cravings to is that I am no longer using the same birth control I used to. I got tired of feeling like crap all the time in many different ways. I can only surmise it was dampening my, uh, desires, so to speak. So I changed. TMI, I know. I'll stop there.

And now . . . more torture . . . the book mobile doesn't come again for two weeks! What will I do? I've spent all I can afford to at my last writer's conference, and the only books I have are middle grade adventures, like I write. Let me tell you, there's nothing steamy in those stories!

What's a woman my age supposed to do? I guess I'll have to write my own. =)

I am laughing really hard at this one! For me, romance is where it's at. Girl gets the great guy, and a happily ever after ... okay, sounds good to me.
Hope you find (or write) one you enjoy! If mine was in print, I'd send it to you free! :)

They can def get old. I can only do romance in spurts. Johanna Lyndsey is my fave romance author.

You guys are great. I don't read books on the computer because I sit here enough as it is and I don't have a kindle or anything like that . . . yet. I'm holding out, preferring the feel of a book in my hands. You know? LOL

Writing romance is great! I add some in to my horror novels even. Go for it!

I was gonna say "you'll have to write one!" but then you said it! So, write one! And share a really steamy scene with us right here on the blog!

Sorry no romance, but maybe I can distract with seeking your help in remodeling my blogspot. I could maybe throw in lunch, what do you say?

Lisa- that sounds great! I'd be happy to help. Just let me know when.

Melissa--I don't think I could post one. I'd be too embarrassed. I'm not that free with my sexuality yet! LOL

Absolutely ... write your own! You can even change the formula, so the heroine may not get the happy ending everyone expects. After all, a little tear-jerking makes the book that much better, right?

The post itself was funny, but I really just wanted to comment about how I like the image you used is from the little known, two season run of The Legend of the Seeker. It was a great show which got better over time. I realize you may have pulled it from the internet as just a romance picture, but hey, still great!
