Read 'em and weep

Isn't it our vast experiences that we glean from to write the best scenes? Yes, that compost pile in the very back of our minds is ripe with fermentation. How could we not use what grows there in the dark recesses of yesterday? Make us ache once again, make us wipe a tear with each heart-rending scene we read.

So, with that thought in mind, here's to our first loves who probably contributed the most to the malodorous richness of the past.

 Read 'em and weep.

P.S. The winner of the blog hop will be announced in my next post.

I've written about 15 pages of VERY autobiographical stuff in the past week or so. It's just so fun to write that stuff.

Though I've been a journalist for years, decades even, I'm just starting to write in a different way.
I have no idea where this will take me.

That's incredibly lovely. Her voice is wonderful, and her lyrics are definitely heart-tugging.

Adele's sure got quite a voice, doesn't she?

Love (in a sick, bizarre kind of way) your image of fermenting, malodorous richness.

Well done!
