G is for Good Idea

This is one of my strong suits. I can easily come up with good ideas for a book or story line. Plotting and finishing that story is another endeavor all together, but the good ideas abound!

My best time to think is also my least favorite. 5:00am. I don't intentionally wake up early, in fact I try not to. But often I find myself awake, staring at the ceiling and thinking, thinking, thinking. Argg! The good thing here is that I feel very creative at that time. I should pull myself out of bed at five daily, but hello? Who in their right mind does that?

This morning it happened again, but I'm so glad because I came up with a really good string to add to the manuscript I'm working on. It will tie things together beautifully and will add more depth and angst to the plot. I'm so excited! So off I go to write it all out!

May many Good Ideas flow into your mind today too!

I've gotten great ideas in the a.m. hours too. In winter I usually don't drag myself up, unless it's really a great idea. So glad this morning that you got this good string! Lots of G words. Good, Glad. Good post!

Loved this! My husband wakes up at 5:00am everyday but I can't prove that he's entirely in his right mind, so there ya go. (I love him dearly!)

Nice G-word!

I wake up 05h30 every morning to get some writing in before the family wakes up.

So I know how good early mornings can be for creativity.

You know that 5 AM does sound like a good time to get those creative ideas percolating. I think I'll try it. Happy to meet you through the challenge.

I'm a great starter myself. I struggle with the endure to the end thing especially when I'm expected to endure it well. Glad you are making some progress though, good for you!
